Data sources

Attribution for the public data SiteLens is built on.

SiteLens is built from public records: planning registers published by UK local planning authorities, together with open data published by central government and other public bodies. Much of that data is licensed on condition that its source is acknowledged, and the statements below are those acknowledgements, reproduced in the wording each licence specifies.

Trade marks and affiliation

Organisation names shown on this site are the trade marks of those organisations. Our relationships with them differ: some data is used under a licence we hold, and most is public data used under the Open Government Licence or a similar open licence. Naming a source describes where data came from. It does not indicate that SiteLens is affiliated with, endorsed by, accredited by or acting on behalf of that organisation.

Corrections

Planning records are published by the relevant authority and SiteLens reproduces what they publish. If something here is wrong, or a licence holder wants an entry changed, email hello@sitelens.co.uk and we will correct it.
